Dear Friend,
In this fast pace, pressure-cooker world in which we live, each of us needs a lasting source of peace and joy. We think that the Lord Jesus Christ is that true Source, and knowing Him in a personal way can make a real difference in life. Folks here at Hanover Baptist have staked their claim with Christ, and they stand together on the frontiers of faith with an exciting vision of the future.
Are you interested in allowing your Maker to be your Master? After all, it just makes sense that since God made you, He ought to "run" you. You came from Him, you live today because He allows you to, and someday you're going to report to Him - it's the reasonable thing to let Him be the quarterback of your life, both for now and eternity.
Most folks aren't all that concerned about going to heaven or hell (they should be, but they're not). But what they do want is meaning for their life; they're concerned about "how to hack it on Monday." They're looking for real life - full and abundant, here and now. That life is available in Christ.
Discover with us the amazing truth that the God of glory has condescended to live in mortals such as we. "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27) can change your life from the monotonous to the momentous!
God's Simple Formula For Salvation...
- "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23 - "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved."
Acts 16:31 - "Confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and be saved ... Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:9, 13
This is God's wonderful invitation! Refusing to respond is an insult to God, who provided the way of salvation at the price of the life of His Son. Christ died so you may live, both on a higher level now, then forever with Him in heaven. Jesus took your sins - By Faith, Take Him!
Pray this prayer:
Lord, Jesus, I come to you. I am sorry for my sins, and I turn from them to you. I should be punished, but you were punished on my behalf when you died on the cross as my substitute. I know you live, and I want you to come now and live in my heart, as my Master and Lord. I give my life to you, for as long as I live.
God bless you,
J.D.
